why I chose to serve a mission.

When President Monson first made the announcement that young men and young women would now be able to serve at 18 for boys and 19 for girls there was an incredible amount of people who stepped up to serve. I wanted to make sure that a mission was the right choice for me and so I prayed, and I prayed some more and when I got the confirmation that the Lord was leaving it up to me, I made the choice to serve and to be a part of the hastening of the work because I love the Lord and I love this gospel with all of my heart.
